Net Tamagotchi was created by Media Craft, Japan. Revisions by Darren DeRidder (Carleton University) allow Tamagotchi to remember it's condition between visits, so you can go away and come back to the same pet. Also, Tamagotchi now poops on a regular basis, becomes sick under certain conditions, get's in a bad mood for certain things, and will die if neglected!

There are three control bars to use. The first control bar, , contains four buttons. They are for feeding, going to sleep, playing, and giving medicine. The sleep button does not work, because the Internet never sleeps!

The second control bar, , contains four buttons, too. They are used for flushing the toilet, weighing your Tamagotchi, scolding, or reading this help page. The weighing button doesn't work, because Tamagotchi's weight is always displayed on top of the screen.

The third menu bar, , contains three buttons. The A button is for "Change" or "Left". The B button is for "Enter" or "Right". The C button is "Cancel".

Your Tamagotchi must be fed to keep his tummy full. Press the feeding button, then use the A button to choose a meal or cake. Use the B button to "Enter" your choice.

If Tamagotchi gets sick, a small skull appears in the upper right corner. Use the medicine button to cure Tamagotchi. When Tamagotchi poops, use the flush button.

Tamagotchi needs to be taught good manners. Teach your Tamagotchi with the scold button. But, keep your pet happy! Tamagotchi loves to play games.

The play button starts a simple game. Tamagotchi will wait for you to choose "Left" (A button) or "Right" (B button). If you correctly guess which way Tamagotchi will turn, Tamagotchi will be happy. If you guess incorrectly, Tamagotchi will get mad!
