The 2001-02 season was a groundbreaking one for new school freestyle skiers around the world. Skiing superpipe, slopestyle and big air events like the X-Games, US Open and World Skiing Invitational went off; tricks once perceived as technically unthinkable became commonplace; and an invasion of urban terrain took place, whereby skiers took on some of the most difficult and impressive grinds ever. Aggressive Instincts Productions was there to capture it all.

As the sport continues to evolve, it remains to be seen what the future holds. But whatever the end result is, the skiers of today who are pushing the sport in the competitions, with new tricks, and on the city streets, are the veritable guinea pigs for the skiers of tomorrow.

Aggressive Instincts Productions, in its 2002 release, GUINEA PIGS, stays true to its tradition of bringing a mix of the most promising skiers of tomorrow alongside the most established pros of today. David Crichton, Chris Turpin, Jon Olsson, Rory Bushfield, Mark Abma, Candide Thovex and Scott Hibbert are just a few of the all-stars making up this year's cast. And in keeping with tradition, Aggressive Instincts will be loading its soundtrack with only the most energizing punk songs from well-known bands such as Strung Out, Pulley, Thrice, Rise Against, Face to Face, No Use For A Name and others. On top of all this, a big step up in both video and editing quality has taken place, as Aggressive Instincts is using digital video and new editing software for the first time.
