How to use ytalk

This is a usefull application that allows you to communicate with other users.

To use this application, you must first determine if the user you would like to speak to is logged on with their messages on. You can find this by using the finger command.

Lets start a conversation with joe.

lager 8:15{0}[~] ytalk joe

After you have typed this command joe will see a screen that looks like this:

Message from Talk_Daemon@lager at 15:14 ...
talk: connection requested by YOU@lager.engsoc.carleton.ca.
talk: respond with: talk YOU@lager.engsoc.carleton.ca

After this happens all joe has to do is type in "ytalk" followed by your username.

When A connection has been established you will see a split screen. Whatever you type will appear on the top of the screen. Whatever they type will appear on the bottom.
